Eight of the 129 second-level and above passenger stations in Hunan Province were suspended as of March 20, according to the Hunan Provincial Road Transport Administration on March 21.
On March 20, 121 of the 129 second-level and above passenger stations in the province were in normal operation, and eight ones were closed. A total of 197 temperature measurement points were set up and 70,469 passengers were checked. No passengers with fever were detected.
The Hunan Provincial Road Transport Administration required that each station should strictly follow relevant requirements of epidemic prevention and control and be disinfected 2 to 3 times a day. Some stations should be continuously ventilated, and some stations should be ventilated once every 2 to 4 hours for ten minutes. Health protection knowledge is publicized through radio, video, and posters in each station, to guide passengers to choose off-peak travel. All passengers have their temperature checked and are required to wear masks. Signs urging people to maintain at least one meter of distance and a temporary observation space have been set up, to assist the elderly and children who do not know how to use or do not have smartphones in having their health QR code checked and filling out personal information. Health QR codes of all passengers are checked.
Eight closed passenger stations are:
-- Huaihua Hub Station, Huaihua East Bus Station, Huaihua West Bus Station, and Huaihua Chenxi Bus Station in Huaihua City;
-- Yongzhou Fenghuang Park Bus Station, Yongzhou East Bus Station, Yongzhou Dongan County Transportation Service Station in Yongzhou City; and,
-- Xinning West Bus Station in Shaoyang City.
