The aircraft is equipped with China's first hybrid-electric propulsion system (HEPS). Compared with the conventional one, this system features high flexibility, reliability, and security. Beyond that, it can reduce fuel consumption by 50% to 70%, and cut oxynitride emission by 80%. The aircraft conducted a test flight at Zhuzhou Lusong General Aviation Airport on March 11.
