The National Copyright Administration recently announced its 2021 lists of national copyright demonstration units, demonstration units in software legalization, and demonstration parks or bases. Three units in Changsha are on the lists. Up to now, Changsha has 9 national copyright demonstration units and 2 national copyright demonstration parks.
 
China South Publishing & Media Group Co., Ltd. and Hunan Mendale Hometextile Co., Ltd. were awarded the title of “National Copyright Demonstration Unit”. Changsha Urban Development Group Co., Ltd. was selected as a “National Copyright Demonstration Unit in Software Legalization”.
 
China South Publishing & Media Group Co., Ltd. has been rated as “National Key Cultural Export Enterprise” for consecutive years, and won “Advanced Copyright Export Award” and “Excellent Copyright Export Award” for many times. It has ranked among the “Top 30 Cultural Enterprises in China” for 13 consecutive years.

Hunan Mendale Hometextile Co., Ltd. is a household brand operator integrating research and development, production, sales and service. It was recognized as China's well-known trademark in 2002. So far, it has 802 copyrights of works, 749 patents, 6 software copyrights, and 1,213 domestic and 32 international trademarks.

Changsha Urban Development Group Co., Ltd. was a reorganized enterprise of Changsha Urban Investment Group and Changsha Pilot Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. It has invested about 23 million yuan in purchasing 24 copyrighted softwares, and obtaining more than 6,000 copyright licenses. All of its operating systems, office software, and professional software are legitimate.
 
The “National Copyright Demonstration Unit” is the highest honor in the field of copyright in China. It is mainly awarded to enterprises and public institutions, related institutions and business markets that have achieved outstanding achievements in such aspects as creation and dissemination of works, industrial development, and copyright protection and management, and are playing an exemplary role in the whole country.
