A delegation of the People’s Government of Hainan Province inspected Hunan Province on February 27, 2022. The Hunan-Hainan Economic and Social Development Exchange Symposium was later held to discuss deepening scientific and technological cooperation between Hunan and Hainan provinces in the seed industry.

After the symposium, Zhang Qingwei, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People’s Congress, met with Feng Fei, deputy secretary of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and governor of the People’s Government of Hainan Province, and his entourage. Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of the People’s Government of Hunan Province, chaired the symposium and attended the meeting.

Hunan provincial leaders Xie Weijiang and Chen Fei, and Hainan provincial leaders Zhou Hongbo and Wang Lu joined the discussion.
