A regional economic cooperation symposium between Hunan Province and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region was held in Yinchuan, Ningxia on the morning of February 20, 2022. Chen Run'er, secretary of the CPC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional People’s Congress; Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of Hunan Province; and, Zhang Zhigang, general manager of the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), attended and delivered speeches. Xian Hui, deputy secretary of the CPC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Committee and chairman of the region, presided over the meeting.

On February 19, Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of Hunan Province, had a discussion in Yinchuan with Chen Run’er, secretary of the CPC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional People’s Congress; Xian Hui, deputy secretary of the CPC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Committee and chairman of the region; and, Zhang Jianhua, director of the National Energy Administration.

The People’s Government of Hunan Province, the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and the National Energy Administration had a work conference on the evening of February 19, 2022. Cui Bo, chairman of the CPPCC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Committee, and Zhang Jianhua, director of the National Energy Administration, attended.

Li Dianxun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and executive vice governor; Chen Yong, Zhao Yongqing, Lei Dongsheng, and Wu Xiuzhang, leaders of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region; Deng Qunce, secretary general of the People’s Government of Hunan Province; and Ma Jinyuan, secretary general of the People’s Government of Ningxia Autonomous Region, attended the symposium or work meeting respectively.

On February 20, the Hunan-Ningxia Regional Economic Cooperation Symposium was held in Yinchuan.

On February 19, Chen Run’er, Mao Weiming, and Xian Hui inspected the industrial park planning and project construction at Ningxiang New Energy Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park, Hongsibao District, Wuzhong City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

During their stay in Ningxia, Mao Weiming and his party also visited Hongde Village, Hongsibao Town, Hongsibao District; Ningxiang New Energy Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park; Ningxia Zhonghuan Solar Materials Co., Ltd.; and, Desert Photovoltaic Industrial Park in Zhongwei City.
