Today marks Lichun in Chinese, or “Start of Spring”, the first of the 24 solar terms in Chinese lunar calendar in the Year of the Tiger. Start of Spring lifts the curtain of spring. After that everything turns green and full of vigor.

As Start of Spring arrives, the low temperature during the Spring Festival in Hunan Province will change, according to the provincial meteorological station.

Rainy and snowy weather will cease on February 4 and 5, and the temperature will gradually rise, with the highest temperature rising to above 10 degrees Celsius.
