During the first week of the Spring Festival travel rush, Hunan’s youth volunteers stuck to their posts at traffic hubs around the province to safeguard passengers’ travel.

The 40-day Spring Festival travel rush started on January 27 and will last until February 25 this year. In order to ensure safe and orderly passenger trips, the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth League (CYLC), together with the Hunan Department of Transport, the Hunan Civilization Office, and the Hunan Youth Volunteers Association, released a guideline for this year’s Spring Festival travel rush volunteer service in Hunan Province. It would help the volunteers provide targeted, steady, and orderly services. A total of 125 teams of 6,653 youth volunteers would participate in Spring Festival travel rush service this year. They would provide services for 49,260 hours in total.
