The first China-Laos international freight train, from Huaihua to Vientiane, was launched on January 6, 2022. The Huaihua International Land Port has continued to enhance publicity and service for the trains, and improved goods consolidation work. After the completion of goods consolidation in short period, the second train departed from the freight yard of Huaihua West Station at midnight on January 27, and arrived in Yunnan’s Kunming at 8:00 am next day.

This train carried 37 40GP-containers of goods, including small vehicles, toys, small farm machinery, excavator parts, and mixing plant equipment sets. It was expected to arrive at the destination in Vientiane on the afternoon of Jan. 30, after a four-day trip.
