The photo, taken on January 18, shows workers welding a reinforcement cage at the construction site of the Yanzhou Hub, a part of the Lishui River waterway project between Shimen and Lixian counties. The project, a key one in Hunan’s 14th Five-year Plan for water transport, is constructed from the Zhaoheng Industrial Park in Shimen County in the west, and Jinjitan in Lixian County in the east. It is 51 km long, with a total investment of 3.653 billion yuan. It will be completed and open to traffic in 2024.
