On the afternoon of January 16, the Fifth Session of the 12th Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) convened at the People’s Hall of Hunan Province. It was guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and fully implemented the positioning, mission, and task of the "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" Strategy. The CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee members from all ethnic groups and all walks of life gathered together to actively perform their duties of political consultation, democratic oversight, and participation in discussion and deliberation of state affairs, to contribute to the building of a new modern socialist Hunan in all respects.
