During the 24 hours of January 14, there were no new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases reported in Hunan. There were no new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were two cases out of quarantine (imported cases). There were 6 people under medical observation (imported cases).

Between 0:00 on July 20, 2021 and 24:00 on January 14, 2022, a total of 161 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 47 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 23 patients hospitalized (imported cases), and no severe cases. One hundred and thirty-eight patients were discharged from hospitals (including 24 imported cases). No people had died.
