The Yuhua Block of Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone Changsha Area won the title of "China's Top 10 Industrial Parks for Investment Value in 2021" at the second Global Cities Investment Promotion Conference, which was held in Haikou, Hainan Province recently.

This is the first time that Yuhua Block has achieved such an honor based on evaluations by a third-party institution, since it was included in the Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone.

Hosted by the Global Times, the promotion conference aimed to build an international investment promotion platform for governments, industrial parks and enterprises at all levels to discuss new ideas, connect with new industries and focus on new drivers, and promote the economic development of cities and regions.

Big data statistics, market research and other methods were adopted to select the top 10 industrial parks for investment value. An evaluation system covering 16 secondary indicators was established from the aspects of investment environment development, innovation development, business environment, openness and cooperation.

Yuhua Block has built "Three Centers and One Platform", namely, the African Non-resource Product Distribution Trading and Processing Center, the China-Africa Economic and Trade Enterprise Incubation Center, the Comprehensive China-Africa Economic and Trade Service Center, and the China-Africa Financial Service Platform. It has facilitated the occurrence of 10 import and export industrial chains, and created 106 African product brands. In 2021, Yuhua Block's total foreign trade volume rose 30.6% to 3.42 billion US dollars.
