On January 12, Vice Governor He Baoxiang inspected the work of COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control, market supply, food safety, and safe production before the Spring Festival, and visited port staff in Changsha. He asked to coordinate anti-epidemic work, ensure supply and price stability, and work safety in production, so that the people of Hunan Province can have a peaceful and harmonious festival.

Vice Governor He and his party visited Changsha Huanghua International Airport, ENN Group Xingsha Reserve Station, China Resources Vanguard (Xingsha Store), Shuiduhe Agricultural Products Market, and Changsha International Railway Port. He was very concerned about the work of epidemic prevention and control, and requested everyone to pay close attention to it at all times and resolutely adhere to the bottom line of epidemic prevention and control. After a detailed understanding of the supply, price, quality, safety, and emergency preparedness of major daily necessities in the market, he pointed out that as the Spring Festival is approaching, it is necessary to prepare sufficient supply, ensure stable supply and price, strengthen supervision, build a strong line of defense for food safety, and adhere to the principle of safe production, so as to guarantee the prosperity and stability of the festival market.

It was learned that the Changsha market has maintained sufficient supply and kept prices stable. The Shuiduhe Agricultural Products Market has taken various measures to ensure sufficient, high-quality, and cheap supply of agricultural products before and after the Spring Festival. The daily supply of aquatic products, meat, poultry, and vegetables is now about 2,200 tons. The ENN Group predicted that about 780 million cubic meters of gas will be consumed between December 2021 and March 2022. In order to ensure sufficient gas resources, Changsha has purchased 844 million cubic meters of gas, which can meet the demands of residential, commercial, and industrial use. Meanwhile, the maximum daily gas consumption capacity will be increased to 11.7 million cubic meters, which can meet the gas consumption demand in peak time.
