On the morning of January 8, Zhang Qingwei, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, introduced the spirits of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the 12th CPC Hunan Provincial Congress, and inspected industrial development, scientific and technological innovation, private economy, and state-owned enterprise reform in Changsha City.

He asked to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee; bear in mind the entrustment of President Xi Jinping; shoulder the missions and responsibilities as the provincial capital; expand and strengthen advantageous industries; cultivate and expand emerging industries; and, enhance the strategic support of self-reliance in science and technology, to inject strong momentum into promoting high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.
