“Seed Ark” is a literary work made by Shaoyang City to study and promote the spirit of Zhong Yang. It is based on the deeds of Zhong Yang, a botanist from Xinning County, Shaoyang City, who won “Touching China” Award in 2018. It tells the moving story of Zhong Yang. He overcame all the hardships encountered in the dangerous natural environment of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and travelled 500,000 kilometers to collect seeds for 16 years.
