On January 4, Dong embroiderers arranged threads with traditional handicraft techniques and were busy completing orders for the New Year at Wenpo Village, Yatunbao Town, Tongdao Dong Autonomous County. In recent years, the county has leveraged its traditional Dong clothing making techniques to develop textile workshops; introduced sewing machines, computerized embroidery machines and other equipment; and, produced Dong clothing by combining traditional techniques with modern craftsmanship.
