A China-Europe freight train carrying 50 containers of goods worth 2.13 million US dollars.  departed from the Changsha International Railway Port at 5:22 a.m. on December 20th. It is scheduled to arrive in Jochino, Belarus, in 13 days. The transported goods included auto parts, electronic products, and daily necessities.

Changsha has handled 1,000 China-Europe freight trains so far this year, rising 92.3% from the same period last year and hitting a record high. The annual target has been fulfilled ahead of schedule.

As the Belt and Road construction continues to advance, the seven-year-old China-Europe Freight train (Changsha) is on the fast track of development, becoming an important channel of Hunan province and even the whole country's open economy.
