The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China (MIIT) recently announced the list of the fifth batch of national industrial design centers. Five Hunan enterprises including Hunan Goldwell New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. made the list.

The National Industrial Design Center is an industrial design center of an enterprise or an industrial design enterprise recognized by MIIT that has strong industrial design innovation capabilities, distinctive features, standardized management, outstanding performance, and advanced development level in China.

The selected Hunan enterprises include Hunan Mendale Hometextile Co., Ltd., Hunan Goldwell New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Sany Group Co., Ltd., Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd., and Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. Among them, Hunan Goldwell New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., which is comparatively not that well-known, is located at the Xiangyin region of Xiangjiang New Area. It is a high-tech enterprise integrating advanced manufacturing and new materials. The company successfully broke through the technical blockade of Germany and Switzerland in the field of steel precision and complex manufacturing for half a century. It has mastered all the core technologies in this field, and has more than 300 technological innovations, 1,231 national patent applications, and 894 authorized patents. It is one of the 2020 Top 500 Chinese Enterprises with Patent Strength.
