On the morning of November 18, Zhangjiajie Metaverse Research Center was unveiled at the Wulingyuan District Big Data Center. It marked Zhangjiajie has become China's first scenic spot to set up a metaverse research center, focusing on integrated development of metaverse and tourism.

The Zhangjiajie Metaverse Research and Integrated Development Seminar was held that day. Tourism influencers discussed the integrated development of metaverse and tourism, and how to develop metaverse in Wulingyuan. They shared opinions on the concept of metaverse and its integration with tourism industry at this stage, and expressed expectations on how to integrate metaverse with tourist product production and tourism marketing. The Zhangjiajie Metaverse Research Center is located in the Office of the Leading Group for the High-quality Development and Digital Transformation of Tourism in Wulingyuan District. Metaverse research will be part of digital transformation of Wulingyuan District. Following the wave of "Metaverse", Wulingyuan Scenic Spot will provide tourists with a more exciting travel experience, more tourist products, and a more comfortable environment.
