Recently, vehicles travelled among bamboo sea and cedar forest in the deep mountainous section of national highway G234 in Modaoling Village, Jinlingtang Town, Xintian County, Hunan Province. The scenery is picturesque.

In recent years, the county government has promoted road traffic construction to improve the travel conditions of the people in Yao minority townships. It has taken advantage of good natural ecological resources to guide villagers to develop bamboo shoots and wild vegetable processing industries. The products have been sold to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, helping increase the villagers' income.
