On October 26, Zhang Qingwei, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, listened to Shi Baya’s story of poverty alleviation in Shibadong Village, Huayuan County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.

Zhang Qingwei, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, visited Shibadong Village of Huayuan County, Aizhai Bridge of Jishou City, and the Museum of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture on October 26, 2021. He learned about the situation of the effective connection between poverty alleviation and rural vitalization, red culture, and ethnic minority culture protection and inheritance work. He asked to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s important instructions on Hunan Province; resolutely shoulder the political responsibility of Hunan as the place where the targeted poverty alleviation was initiated; vigorously promote the great spirit of poverty alleviation; continue to strive for self-improvement and working hard; and, make continuous progress in taking the leading in revitalization of rural areas in the new era.

Zhang Jianfei, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and secretary general of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, attended.

On October 26, Secretary Zhang made a cordial talk with villagers, including Shi Chengfu and his wife at Jingzhun Square in Shibadong Village, Huayuan County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.

On October 26, Secretary Zhang learned about the contents of the exhibition such as “Poverty Alleviation Starts Here” at the Targeted Poverty Alleviation Exhibition Hall in Shibadong Village, Huayuan County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.
