During the 24 hours of October 23, there were two new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases reported in Hunan. There were no new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were no cases out of quarantine. There were 10 people under medical observation (including 7 imported cases).

Between 0:00 on July 20 and 24:00 on October 23, a total of 127 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 15 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 8 patients hospitalized (including 6 imported cases from other countries), and no severe cases. One hundred and nineteen patients were discharged from hospitals (including 9 imported cases). No people had died.
