Yuhua District of Changsha reported one confirmed COVID-19 case on October 20. The patient had travelled to places including Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, and Gansu. She tested positive for the virus after returning to Changsha. Yuhua and Tianxin Districts immediately activated an emergency response plan. Under a state of emergency, the two districts quickly took measures to control the spread of the epidemic. Starting from October 21, nucleic acid tests were conducted on all personnel (including permanent residents and floating population) in the closed area of Xiangfu Road, Shawan Road, Xiangzhang Road, Dongjing Road, Mulian Road and Guitang Road, as well as the closed area of Youyi Road, Furong Road, Shaoshan Road and Xiangfu Road.
