The 130th China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair — the largest trade event in the country — will be held in Guangzhou both online and offline from October 15 to 19. A total of 88 Hunan enterprises will participate offline activities and 349 enterprises will attend online activities.

Hunan enterprises will display tools, engineering machinery products, chemical products, household ceramics, specialties products (fireworks), household goods, and luggage. Before the fair, the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce has arranged special personnel to help participating enterprises learn about relevant policies of the event, and instruct them in making preparations, so as to ensure stability in orders and market performance. A person directly responsible for intellectual property of the Hunan trade delegation will be arranged to provide consultation and rights protection services for Hunan exhibitors.  

This year the Canton Fair continues to support the development of the regions that have been lifted out of poverty. Hunan trade delegation has organized 6 enterprises from these areas to participate in the fair.

The Canton Fair is the "barometer" and "wind vane" of China's foreign trade. This year's Canton Fair has set up 51 exhibition areas based on 16 categories of commodities. About 26,000 domestic and foreign companies will participate in online and offline activities.
