A tour exhibition on the “African Brand Warehouse” project is held in Changsha starting from October 5. In the following two months, 106 African brand products will be displayed at major shopping malls in Changsha, allowing residents to have “a bite of Africa”.
The “African Brand Warehouse” project was launched by the China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Park in Gaoqiao Grand Market, Yuhua District, Changsha during the second China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, in a bid to further introduce new African products and promote brand communication.
So far, 106 products have been included in the project, including 60 coffee brands, 30 nut brands, and more than 10 other brands such as dried chili, sesame, cocoa and tea.
Among them, Rwanda’s chili sauce received as many as 50,000 orders in three days during the first Livestreaming E-commerce Festival for African Commodities this year.
The second batch of Rwandan chilli will arrive at Changsha port in November this year. There will be more pepper products available for residents.
