The Changsha South Railway Station saw a return passenger flow peak on October 7, the last day of the National Day holiday. It handled 161,000 passenger trips that day.

From September 30 to October 7, the station handled more than 1.252 million passenger trips, up 4% from the same period last year. Among them, 201,000 passenger trips were handled on October 1, registering the highest single-day passenger flow since the establishment of the station.
