Giant Oil Painting Scroll “Yellow River” Displayed in Changsha

A special exhibition of the giant oil painting scroll “Yellow River”, collected by the National Art Museum of China, opened at the Li Zijian Art Museum on September 29, 2021. The scroll, with a length of 161.6 meters, was painted by the famous oil painter Wang Keju. The exhibition also displays 100 landscape drafts and manuscripts of the Yellow River, as well as installation works reflecting the painting process.

The exhibition is open to the public free of charge until December 5, 2021.

Ticket: Free

Opening hours: 9:30-17:30 (last entry at 17:00)

Closed on Mondays except statutory holidays.

Note: The museum remains open during the National Day holiday, which lasts from October 1 to 7.

Tips:

1. Before visiting the museum, visitors need to make a real-name reservation through the museum’s official WeChat account (lizijian-msg).

2. Visitors must wear masks, and have their reservation information, valid ID cards, temperatures, health QR codes and travel history codes checked before entering the museum. Those with abnormal results will not be allowed to enter the museum.

3. Group reservations and visits, and guide service are not available.
