The “Hong Kong in Miniature” Exhibition opened in Changsha on September 29. It showcased more than 40 miniature models created by a number of artists, all depicting Hong Kong’s cherished traditions, its unique culture, landmarks, cityscape and aspects of daily life.
"The year of 2022 will mark the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland and the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Wuhan will join hands with the Hunan Liaison Office to hold a series of activities in Hunan." said Guo Weixun, director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Wuhan. Guo added that, the exhibition aims to deepen Chinese mainland people’s understanding of Hong Kong and promote cultural exchanges between Hunan and Hong Kong. He continued, “We hope to showcase Hong Kong’s cultural achievements through a diversified form. Tourists can have an immersed experience of Hong Kong’s culture."
Meanwhile, seven Olympic-themed works are displayed.
The exhibition opens to the public free of charge from September 29 to October 10 at Changsha China Finance Center (CFC).
