A “Happy Hunan” Fine Arts, Calligraphy, and Photography Works Exhibition, themed on celebrating the centenary of the Communist Party of China (CPC), opened at the Hunan Exhibition Hall on September 28, 2021.
A total of 638 fine arts, calligraphy, and photography works, and 51 specially invited calligraphy works are on display.
The exhibition will open freely to the public until Oct. 6.

The exhibition is hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Entries from around the province were selected and reviewed by experts. After five-month preparation, 20 fine arts, 20 calligraphy, and 20 photography works were granted with first prize; 30 works of the three categories each won second prize; and, 50 works each were awarded third prize.
