The 2021 Hunan Culture and Tourism Industry Expo opens at the Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center on September 24. It is hosted by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and organized by Hunan Daily Culture and Tourism Group.
With the theme of "Presenting Splendid Xiaoxiang to Celebrate CPC Centenary", this year's expo aims to explore a new pattern for cultural tourism exhibitions under the new development paradigm featuring dual circulation, and facilitate post-COVID recovery of Hunan's cultural tourism industry. The expo covers nearly 40,000 square meters and has two major parts: image display and transaction interaction. A total of 12 exhibition areas have been set up, attracting 478 exhibitors from Jiangxi, Hubei and other provinces.
The expo features cultural tourism resources, cultural tourism equipment, smart cultural tourism achievements, cultural tourism towns, cultural industry parks, RVs, and camping equipment from inside and outside Hunan, and gathers travel agencies, provincial-level tourism shopping demonstration sites, food, animation, and cultural and creative products. A one-stop cultural tourism experience and consumption scenes are presented through live display, special sales, cultural performances, traditional handicraft performances, live-action CS games, and busker performances. Visitors can enjoy an immersive digital visiting experience via scanning a QR code on site or following the WeChat official account of "湖南文化旅游产业博览会".
During the expo, eight major events are scheduled to be held, including:
--Opening ceremony;
--4th Splendid Xiaoxiang Cultural Tourism Innovation and Creativity Competition Award Ceremony;
--2021 Hunan RV Tourism and Camping Industry Development Conference;
--2021 Hunan Culture and Tourism Industry Investment and Financing Conference and Key Industry Project Matchmaking Activities;
--Hunan Province Tourism Commodity Competition and Provincial Tourism Shopping Demonstration Site Promotion Conference;
--2021 China (Hunan) Scenic Area Incremental Benefit Developer Conference;
--Cultural Tourism Resources Investment Promotion Conference; and,
--Closing Ceremony.
These will give full play to the expo’s driving role in cultural tourism consumption and industry.
