During the 24 hours of September 17, there were no new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases reported in Hunan. There were no asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were no new cases out of quarantine. There was one people under medical observation (imported case).
Between 0:00 on July 20 and 24:00 on September 17, a total of 113 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 3 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 32 patients hospitalized, and no severe cases. Eighty-one patients were discharged from hospitals (including 3 imported cases). No people had died.
Since July 28 when the first asymptomatic case reported in Hunan, the number of days with no new confirmed and asymptomatic cases reported are: 48 days in Changde and Xiangxi; 47 days in Changsha; 45 days in Xiangtan; 44 days in Yiyang; 41 days in Zhuzhou; and, 33 days in Zhangjiajie.
