The Mid-Autumn Festival holiday is around the corner. According to the previous holiday passenger flow data, the evening peak of the day before the holiday will see a surge in the number of passengers. In order to meet passengers’ travel demand, all metro lines in Changsha will extend their operating hours to 24:00 on September 18.

During the three-day holiday, if necessary, measures such as increasing the number of trains and reducing intervals between trains will be taken to improve the passenger transport capacity.

The Changsha Metro Group will arrange more personnel to guide passengers at Wuyi Square, Juzizhou (Orange Isle) and other stations adjacent to business circles or scenic spots, as well as transportation hubs such as Changsha South Railway Station, Changsha Railway Station, and Jintai Square, to ensure orderly entrance and exit passages. During the holiday, technical personnel will also strengthen the inspection of equipment and facilities including the ticketing system and escalators, to ensure their normal operation. This will help create a convenient and safe train-taking environment for passengers.

Warm reminders from the Changsha Metro Group:

As there are expected crowds during the festival, please plan your travel route in advance and reserve sufficient time for travel. When entering the station, please show your health QR codes and digital travel history records, and cooperate with temperature measurement and security check. Masks must be worn throughout the journey.
