The 2nd China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo (CAETE) will be held in Changsha between September 26 and 29, 2021. The first batch of exhibits from Africa completed inbound customs clearance on September 3.

These exhibits include coffee beans and powder from Ethiopia, Uganda, and Angola, and cassava starch from Nigeria. Next, African costumes, handicrafts, and wines will enter the country after customs clearance.

Haotong International Transportation Agent Co., Ltd. is the customs clearance and logistics service provider designated by the expo organization committee. According to a person in charge of the company, a total of 406 foreign exhibitors were invited to attend, and have registered at the customs authority.

In order to facilitate participation of African exhibitors, the expo organization committee has assigned Haotong as a consignee for those exhibitors who do not have a consignee in China. It is also responsible for the customs clearance and domestic logistics of the international exhibits. The Hunan Zonglian Logistics Co., Ltd. was designated to provide domestic logistics service for the domestic exhibits.
