On September 2, Xu Dazhe, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress, inspected the engineering machinery industry development in Changsha and presided over a symposium. He asked to thoroughly implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important speech made when inspecting Hunan; accelerate the construction of a world-class engineering machinery industry cluster; and, inject strong momentum into the implementation of the Three Highlands and Four New Missions Strategy.

Provincial leaders Xie Jianhui, Zhang Jianfei, and Wu Guiying；and Wang Yaonan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, joined the inspection tour or attended the symposium.

Secretary Xu visited Changsha, Yuhua, and Wangcheng Economic and Technological Development Zones in Changsha. He inspected Hunan Wuxin Tunnel Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., Hunan Shenyi Hardware Standard Parts Co., Ltd., and Hunan Zoomlion Intelligent Aerial Work Machinery Co., Ltd. at Wangcheng Industrial Park. He encouraged enterprises to put innovation in a prominent position; attach great importance to talent as the first resource; strengthen market situation analysis and judgment; follow the standards of leading groups of the industry; strive to be the “master” of the industrial chain; and, achieve sound and fast self-advancement in serving the high-quality development of Hunan province.

At the symposium, the persons in charge of Industry and Information Technology Department of Hunan Province, and Changsha, Xiangtan, and Changde Municipal People’s Governments reported relevant work. The persons in charge of Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Development Co., Ltd., Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Corporation Limited, Sunward Intelligent Equipment Group, CHNTEK Sensing Technology Co., Ltd., and Wanshsin Seiko (Hunan) Co., Ltd. gave speeches successively. The person in charge of Hunan University put forward relevant suggestions on the building of the Yuelu Mountain Industrial Innovation Center.
