Xu Dazhe, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress, as an ordinary voter, came to the polling station located in the 29th electoral district in Furong District to vote for district people’s congress deputies.
In the past few days, voting for the general elections of deputies to the people's congresses of various counties, county-level cities, and districts in Changsha has been conducted one after another. Xu Dazhe, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress; Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of Hunan Province; and, Li Weiwei, chairwoman of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee, cast their votes at the polling stations of 29th electoral district in Furong District, 72nd electoral district in Tianxin District, and 6th electoral district in Kaifu District respectively. They performed their duties as ordinary voters to the general elections of the district people's congress deputies.
Provincial leaders and veteran comrades Wu Lan, Huang Lanxiang, Wang Shuangquan, Xie Jianhui, Zeng Wanming, Zhang Jianfei, Li Dianxun, Wang Cheng, Wu Guiying, Liu Lianyu, Huang Guanchun, Yang Weigang, Ye Hongzhuan, Zhou Nong, Peng Guofu, Sui Zhongcheng Chen Fei, Xie Weijiang, Zhang Dafang, Lai Mingyong, He Anjie, Zhang Jian, Liu Yu'e, and Cai Lifeng participated in the voting in their respective electoral districts.
At polling stations across Changsha, banners and slogans of the people's congress general elections created a solemn atmosphere, and the requirements for epidemic prevention and control were strictly implemented on the spot. Xu Dazhe, Mao Weiming, and others performed their duties. They learned about the voting and election related matters and the information of representative candidates. Then they filled in the ballot and solemnly cast a sacred vote.
