Recently, Skytrax, an international airport quality standards evaluation agency, released a list of the world's top 100 airports for 2021. The Changsha Huanghua International Airport (Changsha Airport) ranked 81st worldwide, and 7th among the nine chosen airports on the Chinese mainland. This is the best performance that Changsha Airport has achieved since it was included in the world’s top 100 in 2019.
According to the domestic evaluation agency CPASE’s Q2 ranking of mega airports with an annual passenger throughput of at least 10 million, Changsha Airport ranked 11th in terms of passenger satisfaction. This is also the airport’s best ranking over the past years.
In 2021, Changsha Airport has joined in the “Year of Service Quality Standard Construction” campaign, and earnestly implemented 60 measures launched by the Hunan Airport Group to improve passenger services. It collected passenger demand information from passenger feedbacks, field surveys, third-party service evaluation, and feedbacks from social supervisors. Based on the actual situation and comprehensive analysis, it sorted out 25 measures to improve services, including those for the elderly and special passengers, intelligent services, transit and stopover services, baggage services, and convenience services. This aimed to improve the convenience, efficiency, comfort, and pleasure of passenger travel. So far, 72% of these measures have been completed at Changsha Airport.
