An online signing ceremony for the integration of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan government services was held on August 12. The first group of 75 service items involving taxation, enterprise registration, human resources and social security, and medical care will be handled on a cross-regional basis.

The signing ceremony was held via video link due to the COVID-19. The Yuelu District of Changsha, Lusong District and Tianyuan District of Zhuzhou City, and Yuhu District of Xiangtan City signed the Cooperation Agreement on the Integration of Government Services. They reached consensus on cooperation objectives, mechanism, service items, modes, and work responsibilities.

The four districts will bring online a special sector that provides cross-regional government services, and open a service window offline. They will also allow cross-regional handling and multi-regional coordination. This will allow residents in Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan to have the service items done online or in the city where they reside. It has greatly improved the convenience of government services and people's sense of gain. The service concepts of “whole-process online, intensive and joint handling” also echo the epidemic prevention concept of no gathering.

Next, the four districts will further expand cooperation items, innovate cooperation models, deepen the “internet + government services” reform, and increase cross-regional government service items and announce them in batches. This will facilitate the sharing of government service businesses, systems, data, licenses and users in the four districts, and make available more cross-regional government services with the need for going through only one time’s application process.
