On August 12, the Fourteenth Plenary Session of the 11th Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was held in Changsha. The session will deliberate the “Resolution of the Fourteenth Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Hunan Provincial Committee on the Convening of the Twelfth CPC Hunan Provincial Congress (Draft)”. Xu Dazhe, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress, delivered a speech. Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of Hunan Province, attended.

The plenary meeting was chaired by the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee. Provincial leaders Li Weiwei, Wu Lan, Huang Lanxiang, Wang Shuangquan, Xie Jianhui, Zeng Wanming, Zhang Jianfei, Feng Yi, Li Dianxun, Wu Guiying, and Liu Lianyu, attended. The “Resolution (Draft)” was explained to the plenary meeting by Wang Cheng, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Organization Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee.
