Following the well-planned deployment of the Hunan Department of Natural Resources, the Second Surveying and Mapping Institute of Hunan Province organized sci-tech personnel to develop a “Healthy Natural Resource” platform covering more than 3,000 staff of Hunan’s natural resource system, in two days. The platform has been put into operation on August 9.

The platform makes use of the internet and big data technologies to improve epidemic prevention work efficiency. On the premise of protecting personal privacy and data safety, it has five main functions – information submission online; real-time statistics and analysis; risk recognition; monitoring and control; and, hierarchical data management. It can make real-time statistics of epidemic prevention information, remind users to report information required, and produce comprehensive analysis reports. These would help shorten dynamic monitoring and prevention chain, build a real-time recognition network for epidemic prevention and control, and form a flexible, precision, safe, and swift digital safety line.
