The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games concluded on August 8. The CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People’s Government sent a congratulatory message to the Chinese Olympic delegation for their brilliant accomplishments.

The message noted that, the Chinese Olympic delegation harvested 38 gold, 32 silver, and 18 bronze medals in the 32nd Summer Olympic Games. The athletes have won glory for the motherland and the people, show the world the spirit and power of China, and greatly inspired Hunan people. The CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People’s Government extended warm congratulations and heartfelt compliments to the Chinese delegation and all participating athletes. We will firmly follow Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and carry out the CPC Central Committee and the State Council’s important decisions and deployments on sport work, to unify and lead people across the province to accelerate building Hunan into a leading province in sport, and make Hunan contributions to building China into a leading sporting nation. We will thoroughly implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s important speech during his inspection tour in Hunan, to push forward the Three Highlands and Four New Missions Strategy, strive to build a modern new Hunan, and enhance our efforts to achieve the Two Centenary Goals and to realize the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation!
