On August 9, Hunan Governor Mao Weiming presided over an executive meeting of the provincial government. One of the topics was to deliberate on “Several Policies on Further Supporting Malanshan Video, Cultural, and Creative Industrial Park Development”.

Governor Mao and his entourage came to the park in the morning to further solve its problems in development. They learned about details of the development of the park and listened to the opinions and suggestions of the person in charge of the park on its future advancement.

The meeting decided to encourage technological innovation, reduce enterprise operating costs, increase talent support, grant more permissions to the park, vigorously promote the park’s brand building, encourage its market operation, support the expansion of application scenarios, and increase financial support, so as to further assist its progress.

Governor Mao said, "The Malanshan Video, Cultural, and Creative Industrial Park is where President Xi Jinping once personally cared for and inspected. It has an important position for Hunan Province to implement the Three Highlands and Four New Missions Strategy, and is a typical demonstration base for cultural and technological integration, innovation, and entrepreneurship. We should thoroughly implement the spirits of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches made when inspecting Hunan Province; firmly grasp the positioning of ‘cultural and technological integration and development’; adhere to correct orientation; promote integrated development; create a national platform; and, optimize the development environment, to build the Malanshan Video, Cultural, and Creative Industrial Park into a demonstration zone for the high-quality economic development of Hunan Province, and a leading national media integration landmark with core competitiveness in the world."
