USC Student Volunteer Fights Against COVID-19 in Her Hometown

The photo above, taken on August 9, shows Peng Lu (R) taking nucleic acid test throat swap sampling at Jishou No. 1 High School.

Peng, a native of Jishou City, is a senior student of Hengyang Medical College, University of South China (USC). She is 20 years old, a generation after 00s. At the end of July, she volunteered to become a staff working at the nucleic acid test concentration sampling site of the Jishou No. 1 High School. She wears thick protective clothing and works continuously for 3-5 hours a day, making her contributions to the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic in her hometown.
