At Changsha Huanghua International Airport, Executive Vice Governor Xie went to the air cargo and passenger terminals to carefully check the implementation of disinfection, security inspection, and other measures, and learned more about health declaration, body temperature monitoring, cargo transportation, and other processes. She required airports, the customs, border inspection stations, ports, and other units to work together to do their work well. In the Puqin Nursing Home for the Elderly in Kaifu District, she learned about every detail of the situation of on-duty guards, management of visitors and the life of the elderly, and cautioned against any slackening of the prevention and control work.

She emphasized that it is necessary to:
-Implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important instructions on epidemic prevention and control, put people and their health and safety first, coordinate development and safety, prevent import, spread, and export of the pandemic, and tighten anti-epidemic measures;
-Comply with the latest arrangements and requirements of the central government, pay close attention to key areas, venues, links, and groups, and strictly implement measures such as wearing masks, monitoring body temperature, checking health codes and travel history codes, and maintaining social distance, to ensure that there is no risk at all;
-Fulfill responsibilities of all related departments, put more efforts into epidemic prevention-related work, and strengthen industry supervision. The Party and government departments, state-owned enterprises and institutions should take the lead in reducing gathering activities, and personnel should not go out unless necessary; and,
-Improve big data’s overall capacity and quality to better serve epidemic prevention. It’s important to establish emergency plans, form pragmatic plans, coordinate all walks of life, set up special groups, optimize processes, manage with classification, improve mechanisms, make reports in time, and provide accurate, efficient and collaborative services.
