The Changsha Education Bureau announced on July 31 that, in order to effectively prevent and control COVID-19 and protect the health of teachers and students, all offline education, teaching and training activities in Changsha will be suspended from that day. This was approved by the Changsha COVID-19 Prevention and Control Command Center.

Starting July 31, all primary and secondary schools, kindergartens and after-school training institutions will suspend all offline education and teaching activities, field trips and training, including kindergarten daycare classes, primary and middle school summer classes, high school senior self-study classes, review classes of cram schools, and courses and examinations of training institutions.

The specific resuming time will be notified according to the situation of the epidemic. During this period, those who continue to carry out offline education, teaching and training activities will be severely investigated and punished.

All primary and secondary schools, kindergartens and after-school training institutions should immediately explain the notice to students and parents, properly arrange related matters, and guide students and parents to take proper personal protection. The daily reporting system should be strictly implemented. Teachers and students should avoid unnecessary outing.
