Hunan Begins Vaccinating Teenagers Aged 15-17

The Hunan Department of Education published an emergency notification on July 28 on further strengthening epidemic prevention and control work in schools to safeguard the life and health of all the faculty and students. COVID-19 Vaccination for secondary school students will be launched in August.

According to the deployment of the Hunan provincial joint prevention and control mechanism against COVID-19, vaccination for students aged between 15 and 17 years old were scheduled to be launched in August, and that for those between 12 and 14 will be launched in September. As for the end of October, all students between 12 and 17 years old will be vaccinated.
