During the 24 hours of July 31, Hunan reported four new confirmed COVID-19 cases. One is in Changsha, two in Zhangjiajie, and one in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.

During the 24 hours of July 31, there were four new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases reported in Hunan: one in Zhuzhou; one in Xiangtan; one in Changde; and, one in Zhangjiajie. There were no new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There was one new case out of quarantine. There were 28 people under medical observation (including 9 imported cases).

Between 0:00 on July 20 and 24:00 on July 31, a total of 15 COVID-19 confirmed cases (3 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 15 patients hospitalized (including 3 imported cases), and no severe cases. No people had died.
