On July 28, the Hunan Culture and Tourism Promotion Month was promoted in Shenzhen as the first themed activity of the 2021 Hunan - Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Investment and Trade Conference Week.  

Hunan Vice Governor He Baoxiang attended and addressed the event.

The event publicized ten recommendations for touring around Hunan: night tour; riding tour; driving tour; high-speed railway travel; red tourism; health and comfort tour in mountainous regions; hiking tour; visiting internet-famous sites; countryside tour; and, local gourmet tour.

Vice Governor He said that, Hunan and the Greater Bay Area are linked with mountains and waters, and have maintained frequent contacts. Both of the two places have their own unique features, and also share complementarity in cultural and tourism resources. The Great Bay Area has a solid foundation of tourism industry, and a number of Chinese and international well-known leading tourism enterprises. Residents of the area hold robust travel demands, making a major tourist source for Hunan tourism. Hunan expects to further cooperation with the area in culture and tourism, to make Hunan better known and attract more tourists.  

Hunan has abundant tourism resources which can satisfy various demands of travelers at all age groups, said Man Yanquan, deputy chairperson of the Shenzhou Tourism Association. We will encourage travel agencies in the Greater Bay Area to develop tourism routes and projects in Hunan, and promote Hunan to more travelers, he added.
