A Ningxia agricultural products exhibition and sales event kicked off in Changsha on July 27. More than 200 kinds of high-quality agricultural products from Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region are on display, providing more choices for Hunan people’s “vegetable basket”. This is also an important measure for Hunan and Ningxia to jointly build the “excellent Chinese brand”.

Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is an important agricultural products-producing area in China. It has built 7 advantageous areas for agricultural products with Chinese characteristics, cultivated 13 regional public brands of agricultural products, and created 2 demonstration models for national geographical indication agricultural products.

The event was launched by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and the China National Brand (CNB).

“We hope to rely on Changsha’s advantages to further enhance the brand awareness and market competitiveness of Ningxia agricultural products,” said Yang Minghong, deputy director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. He added that, representatives of 120 well-known agricultural enterprises and 8 counties, county-level cities and districts from Ningxia participated in the event. Ningxia and Changsha will further carry out practical cooperation in agricultural products circulation, green food, intelligent agriculture, and talent exchange and training, so as to complement each other's advantages and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

From July 27 to August 2, Ningxia’s high-quality and featured agricultural products will be displayed and sold at the Changsha Yunda Square Better Life Supermarket and the Hunan Agricultural Products Exhibition and Sales Center.
