
The firefighting and rescue teams were sent by the Hunan Emergency Management Department and the Hunan Firefighting and Rescue Corps. They arrived in Zhengzhou at about 10:00 am that day, and started to fight against flood after a short break according to the frontline command center.
On July 22 evening, the Hunan Emergency Management Department and the Hunan Firefighting and Rescue Corps made quick response to the deployment of the Ministry of Emergency Management. Firefighting and rescue teams converged instantly and rushed to Zhengzhou that very night. The teams included 231 soldiers and 35 vehicles of 15 drainage motorcades from the provincial, and Changsha, Xiangtan, Changde, Loudi, Huaihua, and Zhangjaijie municipal firefighting and rescue brigades.
