The second joint conference on promoting coordinated development of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan (advanced manufacturing) Industry was held on July 22. Persons in charge of industry and information technology departments of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan participated. They had in-depth discussions on accelerating coordinated industrial development of the three cities, and called for efforts to form a coordinated development pattern with advanced manufacturing at the core, and open a new situation in this regard.

Persons in charge of industry and information technology departments and enterprise associations of the three cities jointly signed an Implementation Plan of Comprehensively Promoting the Coordinated Development of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan (Advanced Manufacturing) Industry; the Mutual Recognition Agreement of the first Batch of Famous and Quality Industrial Products in Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan Cities; and, the Consultation and Cooperation Framework Agreement Among Enterprise Associations in Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan Cities.

The three cities will focus on promoting the construction of advanced manufacturing clusters; advancing in-depth cooperation of industrial parks; strengthening sharing of generic technology services; carrying out industrial chain and supply chain cooperation; conducting exchanges and cooperation; and, facilitating the application and promotion of industrial products and services. This will help boost coordinated development of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan advanced manufacturing industry in terms of market, technology, park, talent and supply chain, in an all-round, multi-level and wide-ranging way. It will provide a strong driving force for the three cities to build a national highland of advanced manufacturing.

The three cities jointly released a catalog of the first batch of famous and quality industrial products, or resource-saving and environmental-friendly products. A total of 150 enterprises and 263 industrial products were listed.
